one down. eight to go.

well childrens camp is over today. it was fun. but on to youth camps, starting monday morning.

doing the devotionals in the cabins is pretty fun. they're supposed to start at 930, but hardly ever do. usually because trying to get all their kids in one room is like wrangling cats. cats that have just consumed copious amounts of sugar.
so i end up not leaving the cabin until about 11pm/ then usually, because the experience was semi-traumatic (like in last night's case), i need to debrief with my roommate which puts me going to sleep around 12 or 1230. and when the day had started at 630am.... i am usually super sleepy. after 6 straight days of that - i am beat. so sleeping in a little today was glorious.

last night's devo was fine, really.

i have two words, though: ventriloquist dummy.

fortunately they "woke up Hughie" after we had the devotional time. that would have been a tough act to follow. heh.... *shudder*

kids camp is a very interesting thing.
that's all i will say i guess.

also, that comment was meant to be on the previous post. oh well. I got distracted and discombobulated by Hughie. WHY do the dummies always have to have baby names? Davy, Ricky, Hughie, Bobby, etc.
