after another full day of subbing in middle school i have developed broken record syndrome.
today i had one class that was 20 6th grade boys. yes. just boys. in the 6th grade. delightful!*
the aforementioned phrases came in handy quite often. but i also whipped out "hush!" "get your feet off your desk" and "stop acting like little animals" a time or two.
also, i forgot to bring a lunch, again. but unlike last time i couldn't make it until 430 to eat. so i ended up eating tgi friday's potato skins out of the vending machine for lunch. delicious!*
*high levels of sarcasm applied to these words.
speaking of disqusting food items, can we please just all agree that the mcrib is a stomach churning joke? seriously. it's like a prank. lets smash this meat-food into shape that mimics something beautiful and pure. something that has bones in it.... and then put a prefix on it to make sure no one takes it seriously....
gag. someone once told me that a mcrib was unicorn meat smothered in rainbows. ew.
alright. not sure why i am writing. or why i am even still awake.
