more adventures

so i took my bike out this weekend. i wanted to do a longer ride so i drove to a place on the highway where i could leave my car in relative safety.
so i rode and came back.  when i was loading my bike back up i put my phone on the spare tire. then i hopped in and drove off.
i realized my phone was gone and turned around to go look for it. i was gone maybe 15 minutes and all trace of my phone had vanished.
never to be seen again.
so next weekend will involve an adventure to oklahoma city to verizon.
otherwise the weekend was great. my cousin came to visit. we swam in the camp's lake. played on the ultra scary big slides. kicked it in dead down town ardmore. did a lot of window shopping. satisfied a fro-yo craving. watched how to train your dragon (which was so great) and robin hood. then sunday was more ardmore exploring.
sunday night i got to help lead worship for the staff. it was the first time i have jammed on a djembe for a very very long time. i looooooved it.


no good kiddie convos as of late. it's now youth camp in full swing and my people watching time is more limited. plus high schoolers say fewer funny things... or maybe not.

last week's funny moments have faded - but i will for sure write them down if they resurface.
