day one.

today was full of golf cart rides. sorting billions of t-shirts into sets of 5 colors by size.... then un-sorting all said t-shirts into piles of colors.... and sizes...
meeting lots of new faces. touring camp grounds. getting slightly lost on camp grounds. at least 7 giant cups of sweet tea. laughing. not knowing what is going on or what i am supposed to be doing. camp food that is most definitely going to result in added poundage. big time if i don't look out.
stealing other golf carts that are way faster than ours. throwing frisbees indoors. wasps. spiders. singing songs. hearing testimonies. simon says. and racoons.

yes. the little route form the office to our room has about 3 giant dumpsters where the kitchen trash goes. and 4 big ol' coons oiled out of there when they hears us coming. two scampered off and the other two climbed the tree. as we walked up to our room one stared us down. he watched us all the way into our door.  i am pretty sure he was making note of our location so that he could attack us at a later date. or lay traps for us... or sneak in and steal our stuff... i am most certain that's what he was doing.

so does anyone know of any good racoon fighting/repelling techniques?

be sure to ask matt about ho to handle coons. it involves a large rock and heavy reliance on the force of gravity.
