BORAK - delicious pastry. buttery. filled with cheese. or meat. or spinach. only 80 cents. sold on nearly every street corner. unfortunately i scammed this photo off the web. i will take one of my own soon enough. it just hadn't occured to me yet - i've been too busy inhaling the borak.
alright, by way of update, here are some happenings.
i have looked at four apartments and will look at two more, tomorrow.
my schedule for language learning has been set. - i start in less than a week. looking forward to it like a chubby kid looks forward to a trip to the donut shop.
got to go to the museum in town center. saw some artifacts from 5000 bc, that were found here in the city. actually near to one of the apartments i looked at this week.
there is a very kind lady that works at a borak shop that i hope to be friends with. she speaks english and is okay with me practicing my macedonian on her.
i went jogging for the first time by the river. it will not be the last.
i saw the most obscene public display of affection of all time. it can't even be written off as 'european culture'. it made me disappointed in the human race and discouraged about how to reach such a morally bankrupt people.
but nothing is impossible for the one who made them.
the days have been unseasonably warm and nice. cold weather is around the bend, though. i love the currents weather - but am looking forward to the chill.
scarves are the best thing ever. and i have made three since arrival. haha... i'll have to start giving them away.

don't give up on humanity. so when i went for a bike ride i totally ended up by the river too. pretty ridiculous. did you get lost? i did but i did find the cookie shop at the end of the rainbow. hey bring me back from krispy kremes from your language lessons you chubby bunny.

we have borak too! i had some last night with potato... but they don't sell it on corners.. and as far as i know, it doesn't resemble an intestine.

so.....that thing looks good....i wonder if we have any...i am glad to hear things are going well and i ended up by a river also...but i only took pics...the places i have been walking arent that nice and its more like a half dried up lake..haha but its still cool...but glad that things are going well....hey any word on your teammates yet? are they there or whats the status?
