hah. still blogging my way through may....

it is summer out there. for sure.
hot and desertish.
in the 100s again today.

but i spent pretty much the entire day in the great indoors working on my first sewing project on my first sewing machine.
yes! i got a sewing machine for the bday last month. and yes, it is awesome. and yes, i stink at sewing. but hopefully not forever. especially now that i can diy project it up!
 woot woot.

whilst sewing from 9 am until about 630 pm i found some new netflix shows to get hooked on. bones has run its course and there are no more episodes to see for now. today i started one called awake.
this guy was in a car accident with his wife and son. from that point on he has two realities going whee his son lived in one and his wife lived in the other. it is pretty good so far. there's only one season, so i will probs burn through it pretty quick.
the basic premise has a little hint of the plot from ted dekker's black red and white. i love those books. i hope they never try to make movies out of them. movies based on books almost always do not do it justice. and usually give people a cheap watered down shallow version of what started out as a rich and wonderful story. but people dont seem too interested in reading the book when there's a movie you could watch instead.

speaking of movies. we watched the soloist the other night. it was really good. watch it. let me know when you do so i can talk about it without ruining it.

also we went and saw end of earth, iron man three, 42, gatsby..... they were all pretty good. iron man 3 was super great.

clearly - i am, yet again, struggling to come up with anything in depth.... i do have thoughts in my brain. i swear.
but i am having another headache (and after watching a couple episodes of a show called "a gifted man" i am pretty sure i have a tumor)
