this is going to be tough.
i was hoping that a daily challenge to blog would instantly have my brain tapping in to wild and hilarious childhood memories and daily musing with which to regale you. but i find myself, instead, staring at my busted-A lap top. lightly tapping my fingers on the key with nothing coming to mind.
i love this lap top. it has been with me through quite a lot. it came to me by way of a group of very generous souls. i was living in macedonia. it was my 5th month on the field, i was barely out of language training two months and the first group of american volunteers showed up. they came to prayer walk. i still, four years later, can't get over how cool it was for them to come with the specific goal of praying. i totally get behind people that live like prayer is something real and powerful.
anyhoo. my team on the field all had other commitments and i had the pleasure of escorting this fine group around the city and hosting them in my home for worship and debriefing. while at my house they used my olf lap top for checking their email and communicating back home. that alone persuaded them to gift me with a new macbook. hah. my old one was a great machine - but it had significant use and was getting a little sluggish to say the least. the VERY least.
the one they gave me is still running pretty smooth, but it has recently started this thing where the screen just goes black. all it takes is a little jiggle.
we ate fairly good today:
no subbing tales.
no doggie stories, other than Hazel chewed up a bottle of bug poison, minnie's collar, her bed cushion, dug a new hole and .....
i am so sorry... i got nothing.

persevere! I was still much entertained by your "nothing."
I would say keep going as well. Blogging every day for a whole month is a true challenge, in that it is hard to accomplish. 2 down 29 to go!
What an inspiration! I do love reading blogs backwards!
