today i dodged subbing in order to run errands. monday mornings seem to be the best time to do anything in midland. except go to junk stores. those aren't open on mondays.
don't get me wrong. somehow there are still crowds and lines, but it just seems less stressful. and a little more laid back.
so i went to sams and lowes and petsmart... it was nice. except for the spending money part.
when i came home i got to projecting. and viola:

our pantry door is now blue.
taking doors off hinges - one person job.
putting doors on hinges - two person job. or one person and a folded up rug for a prop.
i am still deciding if i like it. thoughts?
it is a little bolder than the swatch led me to believe it would be. but i'm going to give it a few days, and wait for my husband to see it in person and let his reaction guide whether it will be changed or kept.
i also sprayed some awesome old ornate picture frames awesome shiny silver haven't decided what to do with them all yet. i'll keep you posted.

i should be going to bed soon, i guess.
my routine when the man goes out of town is to watch multiple episodes of bones and binge on something while folding laundry or doing dishes... exciting life. i know.
today it was marshmallows and laundry.

i'm subbing the rest of the week. hopefully it will yield some good quotes or stories...
