agh.
it's like falling off of wagons is my hobby.
i have missed blogging again. but i will try and catch you up:
last weekend i went to san angelo but had a quick turn around when husband's job ended early. it was still a fun trip, though. travelling with the dogs is always a bonding experience.
speaking of... this may be pg rated.
cooper, for some reason got it in his mind to start loving on hazel who hasn't even matured yet.
yikes.
they were riding in the back of the pick up when it started.
i first tried braking in a manner that would disrupt the crazyness. when that wasn't enough it became a highly skilled orchestration of braking and precision swerving that would direct him to tumble into the bed of the truck. but that was still not enough to get that idea out of his head. so i ended up letting hazel get in the cab. poor girl.
on the way home i wised up and skipped past bobbing and weaving and just split them up.
of course, that was after a stop at sonic on the way out of town where he embarrassed me with his dirty old man ways.
ugh.
strangely enough he doesn't do anything while we are at home or in a yard.... just in the truck. weird.
one theory is that her ever increasing size is beginning to change the dynamic of the pecking order and he is just trying to scramble for some semblance of top-dogness.
but there is no telling.
it could also be because he's a dog.

yesterday was the big 2-8 b day for yours truly. it was a good day. husband was home so we just did projects around the house and went to the movies and out to eat for dinner. it was a great and sweet day.
i got a cool old rocking chair from my mother in law a while back. it only took a few hours on the back porch before hazel ate part of one of the arms. must not have tasted too great since she didn't just eat the whole thing. (she can fit minnie's whole head in her mouth. it is pretty hilarious)
so as i was trying to sand down the jagged eaten edges and teeth marks i decided to paint it charcoal grey and recover the seat cushion with a yellow fabric. i will let you know how it turns out.

we went and saw iron man 3. it was boss.
loved it.
go see it.

this weekend i am going to lubbock to help sell cool stuff at my moms pintrest inspried garage sale. all the items are vintage stuffs and photo props and good starters for DIY projects. it will be a good time. and i will also be stopping by market street to splurge on a white chocolate apricot muffin. i realize it may not be "clean"or any "healthier than a donut" or maybe a whole box of donuts. but oh. my. goodness. i don't know what heaven will be like - but i am pretty sure those muffins will be there. and i will be eating them. with Jesus. we'll be eating them.
