and then.... silence

this morning was eerily quiet around town.
Spring break started yesterday afternoon. yesterday was spent driving to DC and back to drop off the team going to Spain gotta admit, it was a little sad to drop them at the curb and drive off. now i think i feel a little smidgen of what mom's feel when they leave their kids at summer camp, or college.
little buddies... all growed up.... tear. sigh.


today we sent out four other teams going to places like Atlanta, John's Island, Chicago and Myrtle Beach.... It was really neat to see so many students eager to go and use their spring break for the Glory of our God.

I am looking forward to how this week will be. quiet.
we walked to breakfast today and there was not a creature stirring, it seemed. it was like when it snows late at night and everything is just.... still.

also - the parents are coming up for a visit i am so excited! there are several restaurants i want to share - as well as a trip to the floyd country store to see some gospel blue grass and flat footing!

the chair is almost done. still.
just waiting to find the right padding and a staple gun.
