it's time for another good idea - bad idea

good idea: making homemade peanut butter and eating it on apples
bad idea: blending the apple with the peanuts to make apple peanut butter


don't judge, you would have thought it was a good idea, too.

so i wanted to try having homemade peanut butter. just peanuts. but it turns out you really need oil for this to be successful. but as it happens there is pretty much sunflower or olive oil here - no peanut oil. at least at the store by my house.
so since i use olive oil for everything else... figured 'why not?'
it made a really different, but not terrible, tasting peanut butter.
i put some on some apple slices. it was good.
but then i thought... what would happen if...
bad bad bad
it was so terrible. granted, apple season has not yet struck so the apples aren't at their best yet. but even if it was. bleckh.
don't try it.
